I am not afraid of change.
I am not afraid of change.
I will not be afraid of change.
I will try not to be afraid of change.
Recently, I have been unsatisfied with my reviews. I'm not sure if it's because I feel that I've become lazy in writing my reviews, but something about my reviews has been bothering me.
Before, I had decided to not rate my reviews — see why here. But after reevaluating my reason, I've decided to try it. But how to go about doing it? I hate giving random stars, hearts, or smilies (or whatever) — it's so hard to justify. While I've seen the particular rating system before and liked it, it wasn't until seeing the review of "The Body Finder " over at The Undercover Book Lover. I think this will help add some "weight" to my reviews and hopefully keep me grounded. So, as of today my new rating system (for now) will be this:
Originality: 10/10
Ending: 10/10
Characters: 10/10
Plot: 10/10
My reaction/enjoyment: 10/10
Theme: 10/10
Imagery: 10/10
Setting: 5/5
Voice: 5/5
Style: 5/5
Tone: 5/5
Cover: 10/10
Thank you ReggieWrites for inspiring me to reevaluate my life... or at least my reviews. I also really like it because what with Student Teaching — I definitely need to practice my numbers!
APRIL FOOLS!
Just kidding, it's not an April Fool's joke. I really am going to do it.
Or am I? (mischievous grin)
I really am.
