From Mahalo...
"Breaking Dawn is the fourth installment in Stephenie Meyer 's Twilight Series. Picking up where Eclipse left off, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen are counting down the days until their wedding. It's the talk of the small town of Forks, Washington. Bella's acceptance of Edward's proposal means an Ivy League education, a step up the financial ladder and the shadow of death in his promise to make her a vampire. "
I don't want to give anything away, but I want to be honest.
I hated this book. I should have just stopped after Eclipse. It went from okay, to bad, to worse, to unbearable. The ending is awful and anti-climatic. But worst of all — there's the... well, the you know. I was so disgusted and grossed out I had to stop reading. The last half of the book took me forever to finish. I had to force myself to read a chapter a night for a week. I had no desire to find out what happened.
I'll look for a better review for my students, obviously this doesn't cut the cake. But I don't want to write anymore. I'm mortified.
