Giveaway: "Life After Yes"

From Target.com...

"With a job as a lawyer and an engagement that began in Paris, Quinn should be happy, but the lingering grief from her father's death is muddying her decisions and she struggles to figure out whether the choices she is making are the correct ones."

You know how it goes when you get the wonderful opportunity to review a book that sounds fantastic, you receive the book, open the book, and realize that, while the book still has a promising plot and theme, your tastes have somehow changed in the course of a few weeks?

This is what happened to me after receiving "Life After Yes." The first page is captivating (as are the first 100 pages!). The characters are easy to relate to and the plot is fast paced. I loved clouded descriptions that readers misread for something sexual and dirty when in fact Rowley is describing something everyday and almost mundane.

So why am I giving this book up? School starts in a week and I really need to focus on reading books geared towards my 9th graders. While I do plan on using the descriptions in this book as an example of fantastic writing, this book is not geared towards 9th graders but more towards advanced YA or adult readers.

Because this was a review book, I ask that the winner be willing to forward their review link to the publisher. I will email the winner the contact person's name and email. This would be a great opportunity to network.

In order to win, please donate a review of your favorite book as a Guest Review for my ninth graders. All I need is a title and a link to your review. Please make sure I don't already have a review of the book by looking in my left sidebar.

Contest closes Tuesday at noon (central time).

Reminder: Please read my Contest Policy — at this time I can only afford to mail books to US addresses. I apologize for this inconvenience.
