1. Which character from The Faerie Ring series has been the most fun to write about?
Larkin is the most to fun to write because she’s wicked and unpredictable and mercurial and has secrets. I never know for sure what’s she’s going to do next.
2. Can you tell us one of your favorite lines from The Torn Wing?
His words were soft. “Maybe it’s because I’ve placed my life in your hands.” He took her hand, turning her palm up and ran his fingertips gently over her skin. “Have you kept my secret?”
3. What do you like to listen to while writing?
When I write fantasy I write in silence. When I wrote my contemporary story I had a playlist that was a combination of Maroon 5, John Mayer, Sara Bareilles and others.
4. Tell us 5 little-known facts about you.
1. I believe in ghosts.
2. I believe in reincarnation.
3. I had a motorcycle when I was 19.
4. I love plants. I have an amazing green thumb and my house is like a jungle including several trees!
5. My koi let me pet them.
