Yes, I'm alive! I returned safely from NYC and have had a crazy week! After LOADS of troubles with the UHaul I was finally able to move north on Monday afternoon (arriving around 8pm). Tuesday was mostly spent unpacking and working on the house. I can't believe this is my life right now. I'm finally in the same STATE as D and able to see him on a regular basis. The house is absolutely gorgeous and our neighborhood is amazing! Pippin is learning that this is now home and that the huge fenced in backyard is his. We did have to take him to the vet yesterday for an ear infection so the poor puppy is on more medication. I'm learning how to navigate in Bismarck and am going into the school today to sign my contract. Life couldn't be better.
Well... except for the fact that we don't currently have internet at the house. I feel completely disconnected from everything finally drove to the local Starbucks for some wifi action. I feel like I have so much to do that requires an online connection — blogging, wedding things, and of course preparing for summer school next week! It's crazy how much I rely on being connected. While, yes, I do appreciate the quiet of the house, being disconnected has added quite a bit of stress into my life before the wedding.
Speaking of the wedding, Wedding Week starts next Wednesday! We met with (and paid) our photographer yesterday and today I'll be paying the caterer and decorator so things keep getting checked off our list! Everything is coming together!
But yes, I'm alive! I can't wait to show you all pictures of the house and the wedding — it's going to be an amazing couple of days!
