Tour: Character Question with Kyler from FRIGID by J.Lynn

I just read Frigid a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it!! Kyler was so swoon-worthy and Syd was his perfect match!
Today I have Kyler here for a question as part of the blog tour.

    12. Ever have those superhero fantasies? What superhero do you wish you could be, even for only one day? Why that hero and those powers?
I think I would be Thor. Not only is he a god who wields a hammer and can kick everyone’s ass with his bare hands, he also gets to hook up with Natalie Portman in the movie. I think I’d be okay with that.

You can check out a video of ALL of Kyler's questions he was asked by visiting StuckInBooks tomorrow, 7/26

Frigid by Janenifer. L. Armentrout Published: July 15th, 2013 (Spencer Hill Press) Reading Level: New Adult For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.

Review: WAIT FOR YOU by J.Lynn (Jennifer L. Armentrout)

    Wait for You by J.Lynn
    Published: February 26th, 2013
    Reading Level: Young Adult
    ebook: 332 pages
    Rating: 5 of 5 stars
    Summary:
Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

    Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

    Review:

Oh dear book Gods, I'm in love! No, seriously, I am in LOVE with Cam! I should have known reading another of Janenifer's books would put me on an emotional rollercoaster but do I listen to my head? No! Why? BECAUSE JaneN ROCKS, that's why! I can't resist her and her sexy book-writing powers!

Goodness!! How hot is Cam? I mean really. Why is it that Janenifer can create these guys that make females question every"real" guy out there and hope that these fictional boys will leap out of the pages of her books? *sigh*

For all of you in love with Aiden and Daemon, PREPARE YOURSELVES! Your heart will have to expand a little more for Cam. He can't be denied! He will snuggle his way right into your soul. You will see flowers and unicorns and he will never leave your mind.

    You have been warned!!

Jennifer writing New Adult books is the best thing since sliced bread. She brought the intense romance and combined it with a plot that a lot of girls can relate to. Yes, Avery has a dark past that we may (hopefully) not be able to relate to completely but a lot of young girls know what it's like to start college and feel all the tension that comes with that experience.

Avery is very closed off… for a good reason. She is a bit obsessive about things and Cam tries to shake that up. Their interactions are freakin' hilarious!! You can't help but fall for Cam and his conceited ways. He throws Avery's routine into a tailspin and that turns out to be good for her.

My biggest pull towards ALL Janen titles for me is just the way the characters are developed. The way they talk and interact. I remember thinking/saying the same exact things in college. Yes, they might be crazy thoughts but those things give her characters life! I have yet to question anything Janen develops.

My reviews of her titles always seem to ramble so I'll just stop now.

Now I must go and count down the days until I am blessed by the book Gods again and I get to read another of her stories. *sobs*

    P.S.--- READ THIS BOOK, PEOPLE!
